Hi Backers,
Good news!...
We understand your frustrations with regards to the extended timeline. However, at the compromise of a late delivery it has resulted in a fantastic end product.
What was the reason for the hold up?
The main hold up has been from our blade manufacturers, not our usual CNC machinists. We have been at the mercy of their timeline and have been desperately awaiting completion so assembly can commence. If you remember, part of the delay was due to moving to a new supplier as we were not happy with the quality. However, given that they are well recognised in the industry, they are in high demand and have been very busy. Time was the compromise for the trust we have in their work.
When will delivery start?
The blades will be delivered to our other factory for assembly on the 16th June. They are currently being sharpened. Assembly should take less than two weeks from the 16th June so we hope to start postage by the end of the month.
Once again, please accept our apologies for the extended timeline. It is not something we hope to ever encounter again for both yourselves and the impact it has had on our business.
We hope trust will be restored once you receive our products.

Dear Backers,
We hope that you've all had a great weekend!
Apologies for the radio silence, we wanted to give a thorough manufacturing update once we had a better understanding on timings.
All the aluminium and brass parts have now been completed and are ready for final assembly. We are currently waiting for the blades to be finished. Unfortunately, the blade manufacturing process has taken longer then expected as poor communication between the two factories over tolerancing the fit of the blade hole onto the brass pivot. We have been informed that they were waiting for some information that had already been provided! The good news is that this issue has been resolved and everything is back on track, we're pushing for these blades to be finished as soon as possible so the final assembly can commence.
Again, we can only apologise for the delay and look forward to delivering a fantastic product as soon as possible.

Happy Saturday.
Please see images below of the manufacture progress. All billets for the main body have now been milled. The blades are being produced by a different blade specialist factory and all parts should start being assembled in about 2 weeks from today.
Our estimate is end of April for complete assembly, we will then begin to ship :)
