Keyring Design Improvement

Hello Backers,
Hope that everyone has had a great weekend!
We've improved the design of the keyring hole; not only is it more robust but we feel it is much more in keeping with the aesthetic.
This change has increased the machining process by an extra 3 steps, which in turn has increased our machining cost - but we don't want to make any compromises on delivering an awesome product! Therefore, we've decided to go ahead with the improved design change (which many have requested).

Lockout Update

Hi Backers,
We have been very busy exploring some lockout options for different territories.
Whilst a lockout in the open position is illegal in the UK and some other countries, we are aiming to offer it as anoption for backers if the knife is not intended for every day carry. The knife will come as standard with the closed lockout fitted, with the open lockout part available through BackerKit once the campaign has ended.
We are exploring this design option as it has been a popular request. So, thank you for your feedback...it only makes our products better!
The image below is of a high-resolution 3D print, this is the second stage after designing the parts using CAD software. The next step will be to confirm the design changes with our CNC machining company and order a final metal pre-production sample.
Its always risky making these design suggestions before confirming feasibility, but we thought it would be good to keep everyone updated! It's all part of the design journey!

We've had numerous requests to change the design of the keyring attachment in order to:
A. Improve durability
B. Improve appearance

First Stretch Goal - Free Keyring Loop
All knives will also be supplied with a free Keyring loop. This way you are able to decide if you would like to use OMNI with or without the Keyring attachment :)

Since we setup HRIBARCAIN (2 years ago last month), we have released four successful campaigns. If it wasn't for your continued support we would not have been able to pursue our dream...designing and selling our own products full time!
